Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

I have been playing with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 since yesterday when it shipped and so far it’s been marvels.

Using it for over a day now has satisfied me that I made the right choice buying it instead of a different Android tablet or the iPad 2 altogether.

And by the looks of the market place there are plenty of App’s for Honeycomb out there. Plus it can also run App’s meant for the Android smart phones very well which opens a whole new world.

The tablet itself is incredibly light and well built. Its lighter then the Samsung book cover I bought for it.

Although I have been exploring the market place since yesterday for App’s I am pretty sure it’s going to take me from a few days to a week or two to settle in.

That’s all I have for now but if anyone has any recommendations for App’s feel free to share them.

It’s nice that #lastfm library services is back online. I was a bit worried after my entire library disappeared yesterday but they managed to get everything working again.

Plus it’s a good thing that I backed up my entire last.fm library just in case a month ago. As you never know when a disaster can strike.

Sweet #Diaspora now connects to #Tumblr as well :). Now only if it could just connect to #identica it would be really swell.

In our time… a man whose enemies are faceless bureaucrats almost never wins. It is our equivalent to the anger of the gods in ancient times. But those gods you must understand were far more imaginative than our tiny bureaucrats. They spoke from mountaintops not from tiny airless offices. They rode clouds. They were possessed of passion. They had voices and names. Six thousand years of civilization have brought us to this. Chaim Potok
